OAA Interhouse Competition

During the last week of term, all year groups participated in the OAA (Outdoor Adventurous Activities) Interhouse competition within their PE lessons. This task however, wasn’t your average orienteering mission…

Instead of a compass and a map, students were armed with phones and cameras, given locations outside, and tasked with recreating scenes from well-known films/series from Netflix and Disney! Using the locations on the grid, students had to recreate and film scenes from famous films or series that were given to them, using CapCut and TikTok. After each successful scene, students were awarded House Points for their creativity.

Many examples were phenomenal; Vandyke could see some future films stars and producers with the creativity on display over the week. Additionally, only three teams found ‘The Secret Cone’, meaning they were awarded substantial bonus points!
