For September 2020, Vandyke has an agreed admission number of 360 students for entry in year 9.  The school will accordingly admit up to 360 students in the relevant age group each year if sufficient applications are received.  All applicants will be admitted if 360 or fewer apply.

If the number of applications for admission exceeds the admission number of 360, after the admission of students with an Educational Health and Care Plan where the school is named in the Plan, the criteria in the admissions policy will be applied to decide the order in which places will be allocated.

Applications for places at Vandyke should be made by Monday 31 October 2019.  In the case of students at our partner middle schools, if parents/carers prefer to apply using hard copy forms, these should be returned to the headteacher of your son/daughter’s current school.

Those applying from elsewhere may not use the online facility and must complete their home local authority application form and send it directly to Transfer to Upper 2020, School Admissions, Central Bedfordshire Council, Watling House, High Street North, Dunstable, Bedfordshire, LU6 1LF.
