Admissions
For September 2025, Vandyke has an agreed admission number of 360 students for entry in Year 9. The school will accordingly admit up to 360 students in the relevant age group each year if sufficient applications are received. All applicants will be admitted if 360 or fewer apply.
If the number of applications for admission exceeds the admission number of 360, after the admission of students with an Educational Health and Care Plan where the school is named in the Plan, the criteria in the Admissions Policy 2025 will be applied to decide the order in which places will be allocated.
Residents of Central Bedfordshire are requested to apply for a place using the online facility.
Those applying from elsewhere may not use the online facility and must complete their home local authority application form and send it directly to Schools Admission Service, Central Bedfordshire Council, Watling House, High Street North, Dunstable, Bedfordshire, LU6 1LF.
