Y10 and Y12 students attend Brilliant Club Graduation

Congratulations to our Year 12 and Year 10 members of the Brilliant Club, who graduated from Lincoln College in Oxford on Tuesday, 12th May.

The Brilliant Club is a programme which shares knowledge and skills with students in a University style.  The course lets students participate in a series of small-group, university-style tutorials where they study a topic linked directly to their tutor’s current academic research. The topic that this year’s students researched was “Early Modern Women Writers: At War with Words.” Students then completed a piece of research and writing about this subject, then received a university-level grading for their work before graduation.

On graduation day, we spent our morning at Lincoln College having a full tour of the site, which included the stunning library. The group then took part in a reflective session with a Brilliant Club tutor, followed by their graduation ceremony, which took place in Oxford Town Hall.
