On a bright morning in July, our enthusiastic Year 10 students embarked on an exciting journey to the Teen Tech Festival at the Institute of Technology in Bletchley. The trip promised a day filled with innovation, hands-on learning, and the chance to interact with leading technology companies. Coding Gyroballs with BAE Systems
The first stop was an engaging workshop with BAE Systems. Students were introduced to the intricacies of coding as they worked on programming gyroballs. This hands-on activity not only honed their coding skills but also provided a deeper understanding of how gyroscopic technology is used in various applications, from smartphones to advanced military systems.

The Aerodynamics Challenge
Next, our young engineers tackled the importance of aerodynamics through a fun and competitive paper airplane activity.
