Vandyke DofE Awards Evening

Our recent DofE awards evening brought participants, family members and staff volunteers together to celebrate the success of our award achievers at all levels.

Mrs Ferguson-Moore was delighted to hand out 90 Bronze, 26 Silver and 14 Gold Awards during an evening which also showcased the talent of our students with performances by Tommy on piano, Aidan on guitar and Eva who sang beautifully. Special thanks to the participants who shared their DofE experiences – Violet, Poppy, Adrian, Charlie W, Alivia, Charlie C and Abi.

It was wonderful to welcome back Vandyke Alumni and recent attendees at Buckingham Palace for the completion of their Gold Awards, Ben and Fin, as guest speakers. The lineup was completed by Evie, who inspired all by reflecting on her DofE journey from Bronze participant, through Silver and onto Gold, and her exciting new role as UK Youth Ambassador.
