Smile Week 2025 a resounding success!
Smile Week 2025 a resounding success!
Between the 17th and 22nd November, Smile Week returned for 2025, and was a huge success! Organised by the Sixth Form Senior Student Team, the week of fundraising included daily events ranging from fashion shows to Teacher Taskmaster – with our headteacher Mrs Ferguson-Moore taking on the role of The Chaser in a special edition of The Chase! Smile Week couldn’t go ahead without the annual teacher dance off, where this year we saw two fantastic numbers from K-Pop Demon Hunters. Well done to the boys, who secured victory with their rendition of Soda Pop!
There were also fantastic performances in Vandyke’s Got Talent which took place on Wednesday. Well done to our competitors, and congratulations to our winner Arabella (Y10).
We also saw some fantastic costumes from our sixth formers who dressed in line with the daily themes: Music Monday, Teams Tuesday, On Wednesdays We Wear Pink, Throwback Thursday and Film Friday.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this year’s Smile Week, from the Year 12s who organised fantastic fundraising activities, the bands who performed in social spaces and everyone who donated in any way. Through all of our efforts we raised a fantastic total of £3755 for Smile Malawi.
So a huge THANK YOU, and bring on Smile 2026!
