Next week is SMILE WEEK!

Our Sixth Form have arranged an exciting week of activities to be involved in, food to be consumed and events to be seen! Every pound donated goes to SMILE Malawi, a charity which provides a home, family and education for orphaned and vulnerable children in the southern part of Malawi.

Each day has a theme, and our Sixth Form students will be dressing to impress in line with the theme: Music Monday, Teams Tuesday, We Wear Pink Wednesday, Throwback Thursday and Film Friday!

Sixth Formers will be fundraising in various ways, such as penalty shoot outs, bake sales, Sponge The Teacher and selling Krispy Kreme donuts. Please make sure you have some cash on you so that you can everything that’s on offer.

Special events will take place in the theatre every day – see below for a full schedule.

> Monday – Fashion Show
> Tuesday – The Chase
> Wednesday – Vandyke’s Got Talent (tickets must be purchased in advance)
> Thursday – Would I Lie To You?
> Friday – Teacher Dance Battle

All events are just £1, except the historically sold-out staff dance, which is £2 per ticket! You can pay at the door for all events except Vandyke’s Got Talent – but tickets for all events can be purchased on ParentPay. It’s best to buy your tickets in advance on ParentPay if you want to guarantee a seat.

The week is rounded off with a non-uniform day for main school students. Just £2 per student, payable via ParentPay.

It promises to be a fantastic week, and the atmosphere around school is always electric – we can’t wait!
