Sixth Form Open Events
Thank you to all Year 11 students and their parents/carers who attended our Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday 6th November. Applications are now open – you will find all the information you need on the How To Apply page.
If you do not currently attend Vandyke Upper School, we are offering the chance to visit the school for an open morning or afternoon event. This will entail a short talk followed by a tour with Sixth Form students. There will be an opportunity to speak to Mrs Quinn (Director of Sixth Form) and members of the Sixth Form team, to ask any questions you may have.
The available times are:
> Monday 1st December from 4.00-5.00pm
> Thursday 4th December from 9.15-10.15am
> Tuesday 16th December from 9.15-10.15am

Vandyke Upper School Open Mornings: Monday 6th – Friday 17th October
It was a pleasure to welcome so many students, parents and carers to our Open Evening on Thursday 2nd October.
Visitors enjoyed the opportunity to tour the school, meet staff and students, watch demonstrations and hear a short presentation by the Headteacher in the theatre.
We are now hosting a number of Open Mornings, which allow students, parents and carers to see the school in action on a normal working day. Tours are taking place every morning from Monday 6th – Friday 17th October, beginning at 9.15am and 10.15am. There is no need to book, but please arrive ten minutes before your chosen time slot.
If you are unable to attend one of our Open Mornings, please contact the school office, and we will advise you of other dates when tours will be available.
Vandyke is heavily over-subscribed, so it is important to submit your application before the deadline of 31st October 2025. Central Bedfordshire Council residents should apply using this online application form, and non-CBC applicants should apply through their local council.
