We are committed to providing all students who have applied for a place at Vandyke Sixth Form the best possible opportunity to prepare for their studies when they start in September. The Induction Programme will take place on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th June 2026.
Summer Induction Tasks 2026
The Induction Programme will include one taught lesson for each chosen subject and two assemblies with the Sixth Form Team. During lessons, each subject will set students a task to complete over the summer to submit for assessment in September. There will be a review at the end of the first full week of term in September to check that all students have completed these tasks to a good standard.
You will be able to access the summer induction tasks for your chosen subjects via a Dropbox link, which will be published on this page in due course. You do not need to have a Dropbox account to be able to access these files. You will just need to open the folder for each of your subjects and download the documents inside. Completed induction work will need to be handed in during your first lesson back in September.
