So, in the end it all came down to Sports Day – and a strong performance which saw the 2021 Vandyke House champions crowned as Zephaniah House.

Hard work and stunning effort from the Zephaniah students in events as diverse as the History Poster Competition to Rounders; together with a high level of participation in extracurricular events such as the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme and STEM club, allowed Zephaniah to open up a small buffer in terms of points going in to Sports Day. But there was still work to be done to ensure the trophy came to the front runners throughout 2020-21.

A series of strong performances in the morning multi-sports events eventually proved too much for the other Houses to overcome, but congratulations must go to all the students of Simmonds, Seacole and Turing house for making the competition this year so keenly fought and for showing such fantastic spirit throughout the year.
