Vandyke Appoints New Headteacher
Vandyke Appoints New Headteacher
As all Vandyke staff, students and parents/carers will know, our headteacher, Tim Carroll, will be retiring in the Summer after 21 years. We will be sad to see Tim leave and the governing body have been fully engaged in the recruitment of his successor.
Governors interviewed five short-listed candidates over two days and, from a very strong field, have unanimously appointed Leah Ferguson-Moore as Vandyke’s new headteacher beginning in September.
Leah is currently Head of School at Cedars Upper School and has previously taught at schools in Luton and North London. We believe that Leah will bring the experience, energy and leadership to ensure that Vandyke remains an exceptional school and continues to provide a truly outstanding education for our young people.
Tim and his senior colleagues will work together with Leah during the coming months to ensure a smooth transition.
These continue to be exciting times at Vandyke – the governing body feel proud of Vandyke Upper School and its work with our students.
