The Big Picture Careers Fayre

We are holding our whole school Careers Fayre (The Big Picture) on Thursday 12 January 2023 from 3.15pm – 6.15pm.

All students and parents/carers will have the opportunity to meet representatives from universities, colleges, training and apprenticeship providers and local as well as international employers to discuss college applications, university applications, apprenticeships and employment opportunities.

There will also be three presentations on the evening, one focusing on the value of a university education, one on Apprenticeships and the other from a local business provider. You will have the opportunity to visit all three if you choose to do so. The talks will be in the main theatre and below are the times the talks will begin (please note we have limited seating for each talk):

3.30pm – The Value of a University Education
4.15pm – What are Apprenticeships
5.00pm – The World of Work

The evening will be of value to all students including those considering applying to university or those looking at alternative career paths including different level apprenticeships and employment.

This is an excellent opportunity for students and parents/carers to access important information and advice in order to support students to plan carefully for their future. The event is open to students in all years and their parents/carers.
