Success in the Young Writers Competition for our Creative Writing Club
Over the last half-term, students from Years 9 and 11 took part in a national writing competition. They were challenged to write a story with only 100 words on the theme: Twisted Tales – Words of the Wicked.
We had seven entries for the Young Writers competition from our very own creative writing club (every Tuesday lunchtime in E14) and we are proud to announce that all seven entries were successful and are to be published mid-April!
The school will receive a copy of the published works and this will be shared in the library for all to see their publications.
A huge congratulations to all those students who carefully crafted their pieces of work. We look forward to reading all of their stories again and any future publications.
