Sixth Form Wear Yellow for World Mental Health Day
Sixth Form students marked World Mental Health day on Thursday October 10th by wearing yellow, in aid of raising money for the charity ‘Young Minds’. The day felt uplifting, with many choosing to dress head to toe in yellow, and using yellow face paints to decorate their faces. The Senior Student Team had raised awareness for this cause by displaying vibrant posters, and talking to Year 12 and 13 students in assemblies about the invisible effects of mental health issues.
Well done to all those who participated and donated a minimum of £1.00 to the cause. In total, the Sixth Form raised £180.00, all of which will go to this worthwhile charity.
