EXAMS

JCQ information for exam candidates 2021 – 2022

Summer 2022 exam contingency day:  Wednesday 29 June 2022

The exam awarding bodies have designated Wednesday 29 June 2022 as a ‘contingency day’ for examinations.

All summer 2022 exam candidates must therefore remain available up to and including this date should an awarding body need to use this contingency day for exams in the event of national or significant local disruption to exams in the UK.

Students must come to all their exams with any equipment needed, including a calculator – no equipment can be handed out.

Exam pencil cases – containing a black pen, pencil, rubber, pencil sharpener, ruler, protractor, highlighter and pair of compasses – (£2) and calculators (£5.50) can be purchased from school via sQuid and should be done so in advance of exams.

EXAM CERTIFICATES FOR SUMMER 2021 and previous years

18 November 2021

Students who have left years 11-13 at Vandyke in summer 2021 may collect their exam certificates from Vandyke reception on Tuesday 4 January 2022 between 12 and 2pm.  If you need your certificates before January, please email exams@vandyke.cbeds.co.uk giving at least 48 hours’ notice and your certificates will be put in reception for collection.

Exam certificates from previous years can be collected from Vandyke 9am to 1pm on a school day – please give at least 48 hours’ notice via email to  exams@vandyke.cbeds.co.uk

We do not post certificates as they are valuable legal documents, so if you are unable to come and collect your own certificates, someone else may collect them on your behalf as long as they have your prior written permission.  Please complete the form below and ask the person collecting your certificates to bring this with them.  A signature is required on collection.

Once you have collected your certificates, please keep them in a safe place as you may be asked for them by college/university or an employer in years to come as they are important legal documents and will be expensive to replace.

I, ………………………………………………….. (in year …………….), authorise …………………………………………………… to collect my exam certificates from Vandyke Upper School.
