Get ready for Smile Week!

Next week is Smile Week! The Sixth Form Senior Student Team will be managing a week-long fundraising event across the school, for the charity Smile Malawi. You can find out more about the Smile Malawi Charity on their Facebook page.

Smile Week Wristbands are £2 and are available now to purchase on sQuid – please buy your wristband by the end of this week.  Students in Y9-Y11 who buy a wristband can have a non-uniform day on Friday 1st December.  Students in Y12 and Y13 will be dressing up all week and also need to buy a wristband.  Tutors will give the bands out during form time next week to any student who has bought one. Y13 students can collect their wristbands from the 6F SUB office.

In addition, tickets for Vandyke’s Got Talent are also on sale now, on sQuid for £3.  Tickets can also be purchased on the door and there will be a raffle during the event.

Please can students remember to bring in some cash next week. There will be plenty of sweet treats on offer around the school, plus lunchtime events and activities to take part in! Students can purchase tickets for the lunchtime events in school with cash – Sixth Form students will be selling them in social areas during break and lunch throughout Smile Week.
