Future Opportunities event a great success

Last week, we were delighted to welcome hundreds of students, parents and carers to our Future Opportunities Careers event. The sports hall was packed with people, as visitors met with representatives from a host of education, training and employment providers to discuss college/university applications, apprenticeships and employment opportunities.

Organisations in attendance included De Montfort University, Exeter University, Durham University, ARU Nursing/Midwifery, Shuttleworth College, McGuigan Hair & Beauty, Wilmott Dixon Construction, MK College, Culinera Catering, ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, the Army and the Department for Work & Pensions.

It was a fantastic event, and so valuable in helping our students explore their post-16 options and consider pathways they might never have thought about. Huge thanks to all the exhibitors (some of whom had travelled a VERY long way!) for joining us. We look forward to welcoming everyone again next year.
