Newport Pagnell Town 3 – 0 Littlehampton FC

Congratulations to Vandyke’s PE teacher Mr Conway, who played at Wembley on Sunday 22nd May in front of large and noisy crowd in the FA Vase Final.

As the goalkeeper, Mr Conway had already produced some heroics to help his Newport Pagnell Town team reach this stage. In the semi-final he saved three penalties and scored one himself to help them reach the final at the national stadium.

In the final Newport produced an excellent performance  winning the game 3-0 against Littlehampton FC.  Newport’s first goal was one of the great Wembley goals of all time; and of course our very own Mr Conway kept a clean sheet as well!
