Senior Student Group present cheque to Willen Hospice

Fantastic work from this year’s Senior Student Group, who organised a series of fundraising events as part of Smile Week, and raised a whopping £718 for Willen Hospice. Over £3,000 was raised in total during Smile Week, the majority of which goes to the Smile Malawi charity, but all proceeds from the Vandyke’s Got Talent show, a bake sale and everyone’s favourite Krispy Creme bonanza, go to Willen.

Thanks to all staff and students who supported this fantastic fundraising effort. It was a pleasure to present the cheque to Willen Hospice staff, and we know that every penny will support their invaluable work providing specialist, compassionate care and support for those living with and affected by life-limiting illness.
