Business Studies students attend Grade Booster Revision masterclass

The Business Studies department took fifteen Y11 students to a revision masterclass from the experts at Tutor2u. The event was held at the Vue Cinema in Westfield Stratford City in London. Learners from schools and colleges from the south of England were in attendance to hear from the experts on how to tackle the summer exams.

The day was made up of four sessions focusing on different areas and themes.

Session 1 looked at maximising marks in 4, 10 and 12 mark questions. Success in the 20 marks questions was the focus of session 2. Session 3 focused on Investigating Business in a Competitive Environment. And Graham Prior, a principal business examiner, led a final session on Quantitative Skills, Numerical Concepts and a Core Topics Revision Blast.

As always, all the business students were exceptionally well behaved, punctual and focused. They all felt that they benefitted enormously from this special event.
