During the weeks of 7th to 18th November, all year 10 and 11 GCSE Computer Science students took part in the national Bebras Computer Science competition. This competition challenges students  to solve a range of different challenges using computational and logical thinking.

Particular congratulations go to Vandyke students Evie Olson, Monty Barber, Jamie Sparks, Henry Phillips, Abbie Cook and Jake Foxwell who all achieved a top ten percent score. Over 300,000  students entered the competition this year so it is a fantastic result for these students.

A number of our students are now preparing for the next round of the competition, with the aim of gaining a place in the National Finals which are hosted at Oxford University.
