Aim Higher Evening

Mar 26, 2019

This time of year marks an important time for our Year 11 and Year 12/13 students as they begin to plan for their future, and our annual Aim Higher Evening is a fantastic occasion to ensure students are equipped with current and impartial advice and information to help them make their way into the ever-changing world of work.

Students from all year groups were given the opportunity to meet representatives from local colleges, universities, employers and apprenticeship providers to discuss their career options for the future. Students and parents also had the opportunity to listen to presentations on the benefits and pathways into both University and Apprenticeships.

With 13 Universities, 6 FE Colleges, 9 apprenticeship providers and a range of employers including EasyJet, the Armed Forces, Beds Police and Woburn Estates, and a number of providers of wider opportunities such as MK Dons SET, NCS and Skills Rocket, plus the careers team, this was an amazing opportunity for students from all year groups to benefit.

Lots of students in Year 11 and Year 12 in particular came along and the feedback was excellent.
