Year 13 Live Music Performance

The Year 13 Commercial Music class performed their final show on Tuesday 6th March, which marked the end of their Rehearsal Skills and Live Music Performance unit. Max Sullivan, Chloe Bright, Max Thomas and Gemma Taylor performed a wide range of songs to demonstrate their versatility.

Musical theatre-lovers, Max Thomas and Chloe Bright performed songs from Hamilton, Les Mis and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Gemma Taylor demonstrated her multi-instrumentalism on piano and voice with songs such as Supermarket Flowers by Ed Sheeran, whilst Max Sullivan conveyed his passion for film music in a fifteen minute set of songs from Interstellar, La La Land, Pirates of the Caribbean and Inception.

The four students were incredibly supportive of each other and showed initiative when setting up for the show. Their evening performance was a success and the students received many positive comments afterwards.  It is always lovely to see smiling musicians after they have performed.

Congratulations to you all.
