Mrs Humphreys led an after school club creating artworks for ‘Never Such Innocence’, a charity working to commemorate the First World War with young people.

Students drew upon their family histories and the work of war artists to create very thought-provoking and original works using a range of media. Ruben Mead's entry made use of countless little ink spots in the style of the Pointilists to depict a portrait of a soldier.

Students received certificates of commendation for their excellent submissions to the competition.    See these wonderful works, along with many other examples of painting, drawing, sculpture, fashion and photography at the Art Department summer exhibition on the 6th July.
