NCS Champion School Award

On Saturday 16th January a group of students was invited  to the MK Dons Stadium to be presented with a plaque to celebrate being awarded the 2015 NCS Champion School Status.

In 2015, Vandyke had 24 NCS graduates taking part in the NCS programme organised through the MK Dons SET. The NCS (National Citizen Service) is a government funded initiative aimed at students between the ages of 15 to 17, and to date more than 200,000 young people have already said YES to NCS.

NCS can help fast track your future by learning new skills for work and life and it will look great on your CV because it helps teach the skills employers say they are increasingly looking for in candidates: confidence, teamwork and leadership skills

NCS provides a framework to show off and talk about skills and experiences in interviews. What's more, NCS is recognised by UCAS and will help you deliver a killer personal statement. MK Dons SET are currently organising this year’s event.
