School Sports Parnership

The Leighton Linslade School Sports Partnership is passionate about helping all local young people to achieve their full potential, working closely with all 27 schools from within the local area to provide a range of opportunities to those involved in Physical Education and School Sport.

In September 2015 the School Sports Partnership won the 2014-15 Regional (London and Home Counties) Award for its work in developing PE and School Sport opportunities for young people.

At the Youth Sports Trust - ‘National School Games Summit’ in Coventry on Tuesday 13th October, the partnership also gained the ‘National Runner Up’ award for its  development of PE and School Sport.

These awards are testament to the hard work of all the schools within the area for being committed to developing opportunities for young people in PE and School Sport. With 23 schools achieving Gold School Games Mark and 2 Silver Marks, this was one of the highest percentages out of the 450 School Games areas within the country.

The Leighton Linslade School Sports Partnership offers an extensive range of programmes and initiatives; Sport and PE resources; delivering over 80 School Games Event and Continuing Professional Development programmes for teachers; all created to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.
