Leighton Buzzard Geography Fieldwork

Year 11 proved that you can have fun on a field trip no matter the location!

The week before last over a 120 geography students went out over three days to investigate whether Leighton Buzzard has reduced its eco-footprint and to compare it to areas within Milton Keynes.

Students completed traffic and resident surveys, cycle route mapping, shopping basket surveys and questionnaires which they will now convert into tables and graphs to be analysed for their controlled assessments.

The weather, the behaviour and the engaging spirit of all groups made each day enjoyable and a success. Once again Vandyke students showed themselves to be mature individuals and were a pleasure to take out for the day.
